Cookie Policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

This policy explains what cookies and browser storage Clariti uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. We keep our cookie use to a minimum — the only third-party cookies we set are Google Analytics cookies, and only with your explicit consent.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide analytics to site owners. Cookies are not the same as browser local storage (explained below).

What does Clariti use?

Clariti uses two types of storage: browser local storage for essential functionality, and Google Analytics cookies only if you choose to accept them.

1. Essential browser storage (always active)

This is not a cookie — it is browser local storage, which works differently. It never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server. We use it for one purpose only:

2. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you click Accept cookies on our banner, we load Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how people use Clariti — which pages are popular, where visitors come from, and how the product can be improved. If you decline, none of these cookies are set.

Note: We enable IP anonymisation on Google Analytics, which means the last part of your IP address is masked before any data is stored. Google Analytics data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

What we do NOT use

Clariti does not use any of the following:

Advertising cookies
Social media tracking
Session / login cookies
Retargeting pixels
Heatmap / recording tools
Third-party ad networks

How to manage or withdraw consent

You can change your cookie preference at any time in two ways:

Option 1 — Clear your browser storage

Open your browser's developer tools (F12) → Application → Local Storage → clariti.living → delete the clariti_consent key. The banner will reappear on your next visit.

Option 2 — Opt out of Google Analytics globally

Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent GA from collecting data across all websites you visit.

Option 3 — Browser cookie settings

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some websites function.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add or remove tools. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. We will show a new consent banner if we add any new cookie categories.
